Navy life seem's So Unfair

 Navy life seem's So Unfair

I just packed his bags,
He has to go,
I beg me PLEASE tell me it's just not so.

He says my darling we are getting underway,
I lay across my bed and cry all day.

Our youngest son wakes me with tears in his eye's,
He says mommy My daddy's gone who will teach me to tie?

I look at him trying to hide my tears,
I tell him Dillon daddy won't be gone long,
The U.S. Navy will bring daddy home safe and strong.

The telephone rings the ship's on its way home,
He says tell my children there daddy's On his way we will run and we play,
Tell my littlest Boy He wont be alone.
Ill take him outside we will play ball today.

His times almost up,
Im counting the days,
He will retire soon and come home to stay
