They Are Coming Home To Us

They Are Coming Home To Us

All the wives saying good-bye
All the tears that we've cried
The children that don't understand
That their daddy's are gone again
Who are we to judge what they do
For they provide for me, and you
It may not be lovely, nor bliss
Although we recognize who has to do this
They fight for our country day after day
We grieve over it but in a different kind of way They are the few the proud
But to us they are our worlds
We will be here till the day they come home
With our love felt banners we hold Showing the country that they are not only
Marines
But the men who are coming home to us
And the fathers who have been missed so
We stand with pride on the side, not only as a Marines wives, but a lover &a
friend
Who will be standing here next to them till the end!
