Canine Companions for Independence

Canine Companions for Independence

I'm writing to share with you a little bit our mission.

Canine Companions for Independence is a national nonprofit organization that breeds, raises and trains assistance dogs to be the ears, hands and legs of their human partners; adults and children with disabilities who receive our assistance dogs and ongoing support free of charge. Additionally, we recently launched outreach efforts to place more assistance dogs with veterans of the current conflict, for more information, please visit cci.org/veterans.

But assistance dogs aren't just born, they're raised. And at Canine Companions we need more volunteer puppy raisers to care for our puppies. In our experience individuals in your major demographic are interested in becoming volunteer puppy raisers. In an effort to recruit more volunteer puppy raisers, we are launching a new banner ad campaign. We would appreciate your support in creating awareness of this incredible and rewarding volunteer opportunity.

Best Wishes,
